Ban On Hijab: Protesters Storm University Of Ibadan International School With Placards [Photos]

Pro-hijab protesters today stormed the University of Ibadan International School, challenging why female students should be stopped from wearing hijab to class – a matter which has been on for weeks.

The school’s authority however hurriedly shut down the premises indefinitely to prevent any possible clash between pupils and a group of protesting loyalists of the Muslim Parents Forum who advocate the use of hijab by female pupils.

Some of the inscriptions on their placards include, “Our hijab, our pride, their fear;” “How does my hijab affect you;? “Hijab;” etc.
