7 year-old girl who begged doctors to let her die after suffering horrific injuries from 'her parents and an uncle' dies

A seven-year-old r*pe victim who begged doctors to let her die while being treated for injuries allegedly caused by years of abuse by her parents and uncle has died after months in ICU.

The local authorities announced that Yatziri, 7, tragically died in the Hospital de Las Margaritas in the Mexican state of Puebla on December 28.

The girl was being treated in ICU after being severely beaten on August 21.

Yatziri died of multi-organ failure, however no further information was given, according to local media reports.

A neighbour had taken the girl to hospital where she was diagnosed with internal bleeding, signs of rape, back burns, and a collapsed lung.

Upon arrival, the girl is said to have told doctors 'I want to die, don't heal me anymore', adding 'I don't want to go back to my parents so they can keep hitting me'.

Her father, identified as Rafael, and mother, named as Alejandra Viridiana, have both been detained and are being investigated for abusing their daughter.

The police are tracking down the victim's paternal uncle, who has not been named, for allegedly raping the young girl on repeated occasions, but he remains at large.

Yatziri had a three-year-old sister named Mitzy who was believed to have died of accidental asphyxiation in her sleep in June this year, and police have reopened the case in the wake of her sibling's death.

Yatziri had previously been admitted to hospital with signs of trauma blows and serious injuries all over her body dating back to 2019, as well as in February, May, and August 2020, yet no action was taken against the parents.

In August, she was admitted with burns to her buttocks that had destroyed part of the muscle that was so severe medics had to do a skin graft.

In the recent message announcing her tragic death, the Government of Puebla said the actions that lead to the young girl's early passing will not go unpunished.

The investigation continues.

Nigerian army deploys aircraft, gun trucks in search of Kanu's Eastern Security network camp

The Nigerian Army has deployed combat helicopters, gun trucks and soldiers to search some forests in the South-East states where the Eastern Security Network, recently launched by Nnamdi Kanu, is suspected to be camping.

SaharaReporters learnt that the military search had been ongoing for days, and has no time frame, as the army was acting on "orders from above."

From the drones and hidden cameras believed to be installed by the ESN, a video captured the Nigerian Army helicopters and their vehicles and soldiers searching for the camp of the ESN to make arrests.

Kanu, a leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, on December 12, launched the ESN, saying the regional security outfit, just like Amotekun in the South-West, would help tackle crime.

"The Nigerian Army that is supposed to fight Boko Haram were seen everywhere searching for the camp of Eastern Security Network team. But they forgot they are dealing with sophisticated men. There are cameras and drones everywhere watching them," an official told Saharareporters.

"If the Nigerian Armed Forces attack the ESN, the people of Southern Kaduna, the Middle Belt, and the South-West must use that opportunity to flush out the Fulanis in their region. The Nigerian Army will disintegrate, and all will be free," another aggrieved official added.

Two days after Kanu launched the ESN, the Yoruba's socio-cultural group, Afenifere, lent its support, noting that Nigeria must embrace regional policing as the only remedy to insecurity.

The Afenifere National Publicity Secretary, Yinka Odumakin, in an interview with SaharaReporters, had stated this, adding that the distorted federal police could no longer secure the country; hence the establishment of regional security outfits to protect lives and property.

He said, "It is seen that the central policing in Nigeria has collapsed, and the regional policing is not a new thing in this country. And, I tell you, we are back to the era of regional policing.

"The security challenges have gone beyond what the Nigeria police can handle, and since we have had regional policing before, we are back into the era again."

When asked if this is commendable and needed, he said, "Kanu is doing what is good for his region."

The Director, Army Public Relations, Brig-Gen Sagir Musa, could not be reached for comments on the deployment of the aircraft.

Prophecies that missed the mark in 2020

It is common for prophets, pastors, and other clerics to make bold prophecies at the end of every year or beginning of a new one. Expectedly, the year 2020 was not short of such prophecies.

These prophecies are often received with faith by Christians all over the country.

According to the Central Intelligence Agency World Factbook, Nigeria is one of the most religious countries of the world.

A 2018 research by the Pew Research Center found that Nigeria had the sixth-largest Christian population (87 million) and the fifth-largest Muslim population (90 million) in the world.

The prophecies are customarily focused on politics, economy, natural disasters and general optimistic predictions about church members' futures.

However, while some of the prophecies they make are fulfilled, many others miss the mark.

For instance, 2020 came with a lot of uncertainty, ailments, deaths, job losses and hardship for many people worldwide, no thanks to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. Its impact so shocked the world that even clerics did not see it coming.

Pastor Enoch Adeboye

On his part, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, said earthquakes and volcanoes had been dormant in his 2020 prophecies for years would activate.

He said, "This year (2020) unless you pray very hard, it is going to behave like a child that is having a convulsion. Earthquakes and volcanoes that have been dormant for years will erupt because of sin, which is becoming more rampant."

However, a report in the Volcano Discovery for 2020 confirmed fewer earthquakes with higher magnitudes recorded over previous years.

The United States Geological Survey (USGS) Earthquake Hazard Program on its website recorded only about 26 earthquakes with magnitudes of 6.5 and above, with a total of over 100 earthquake occurrences worldwide. It was also gathered that 2020 was the first year since 2016, with no magnitude 8+ earthquakes as only nine major earthquakes occurred. Also, Adeboye said 2020 would be a year of series of joy, but many Nigerians have described the year as one of the most sorrowful ones they have ever witnessed.

Pastor T. B. Joshua

Founder of the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), was slammed in several quarters after his prophecy that the coronavirus pandemic would end on March 27, 2020, was not fulfilled.

Months after, the killer virus has continued to affect several countries with a second wave of the novel disease currently making the headlines.

Chris Oyakhilome

Founder of LoveWorld Incorporated, popularly known as Christ Embassy, Chris Oyakhilome, earlier predicted that 2020 would be a year of perfection. But the year has been far from being perfect. Barely three months into the year, Oyakhilome himself shared theories about an alleged connection between 5G network and COVID-19.

David Oyedepo

The Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church, David Oyedepo, predicted that 2020 would be a year of breaking limits. This, however, was in sharp contrast to the realities that characterised the year.

Williams Kumuyi

Earlier in the year, founder of Deeper Life Bible Church, Williams Kumuyi, told his congregation that 2020 would be the best year they had ever lived.

"This year will be the best you have ever lived in your life," Kumuyi said. But the year has unarguably been a tough year laced with several challenges.

Apostle Johnson Suleman

Similarly, the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, Johnson Suleman, had said earlier in his new year declaration: "In the year 2020, you shall not lack money, you shall move from glory to glory, from grace to grace, from good to better, from better to best."

Members of his congregation could attest to the fact that in 2020, there was widespread hardship as the economy struggled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Wale Olagunju

The presiding Bishop of Divine Seed of God Chapel Ministry, Ibadan, Oyo State, Wale Olagunju, also disclosed that the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai; his Ekiti State counterpart, Kayode Fayemi, and about 70 per cent of the members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, might dump the party. This is yet to be fulfilled even as the year comes to an end.

Olagunju also said the Queen of England should count her days, suggesting her last moments were near. Elizabeth II, however, reportedly celebrated the last Christmas with her family at their royal home, Windsor Castle in London.

He added, "As revealed to me by the Almighty God, if (Ayo) Fayose and his PDP (Peoples Democratic Party) fail to reconcile with Senator (Abiodun) Olujimi now, Olujimi will surely decamp to APC (All Progressives Congress)." Though there were reports that the senator representing Ekiti South Constituency threatened to defect to the APC, her media aide, Atofarati Santa, said Olujimi was still the PDP leader in the state and the highest-ranking political office holder and had nothing to do with the APC.

The prophet missed the mark when he said God revealed to him that, should Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State defect to another party, he would lose the 2020 election.

Obaseki defected from the APC to the PDP in June 2020 and emerged victorious in the state governorship election.

He added, "The Living God says that President Donald Trump is a candidate to beat in the USA 2020 presidential election. With a little prayer, Donald Trump will win the election."

At the heat of the US election, the spiritual adviser to Trump, Paula White, called on "angelic reinforcement" from the continents of Africa and South America to give Trump victory. At the moment, Joe Biden remains the president-elect of the United States of America.

FG to suspend passports of 100 passengers refusing post arrival Covid-19-19 test

Effective from January 1st, 2021, passports of the first one hundred passengers that have failed to take their post-arrival COVID-19 test will be published in the national dailies and suspended till June 2021.

The Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Mr. Boss Mustapha made the announcement in Abuja on Tuesday during a briefing.

Mustapha, also, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), said that the names of the passengers would be published on Jan. 1, 2021, while the suspension of the passports would last for six months.

He also revealed that there are some additional quarantine protocols to be observed by travelers arriving from the UK and South Africa.

The new protocols according to the task force who already predict that January 2021 will be a tough month, is to minimize the possibility of virus importation into the country.

The SGF lamented the difficulties experienced in the national response, noting that the nation’s response is passing through a challenging phase due to the seriousness of the second wave of infections in Nigeria.

“Week 52 has so far given us the highest number of infections in a single week to date. Our analysis shows that 16 out of every 100 tests carried out are positive.

“We are also seeing increasing transmission among younger people and this is not considered good and safe. We must, therefore, exercise utmost restraint by taking responsibility,” he said.

Mustapha said that the PTF had discussed two critical issues, Oxygen supply, and Case Management, and during the conversation with health authorities, CMDs of Federal Tertiary Institutions in Abuja, National Hospital; Jabi & Gwagwalada, the PTF directed that the level of Infections, Prevention and Control, as well as case management, should be prioritized immediately.

“With the increasing number of infections and hospitalization, our objectives are to ensure that infection, prevention, and control (IPC) is properly instituted to minimize spread and exposure of health care workers to the virus;

“Ensure that those who require hospitalization are well managed; those requiring medical attention for other ailments gain access to Treatment at medical facilities; and critical care is available and deployed, especially where oxygen is needed.

“The situation in Abuja and its environs has been of concern to the PTF,” the SGF stated.

Actress Ini Dima-Okojie revealed she was diagnosed with fibroid in 2017 [Video]

Nollywood actress, Ini Dima-Okojie, has revealed that she was diagnosed with fibroid in 2017. The diva shared her story with her fans on her Instagram account.

She allayed the fears of her friends and fans as she noted that she is currently recovering from surgery.

In a video that chronicled her battle with the ailment, she took to the caption section to state, “My journey with fibroid. Hey Guys, I know it’s been a minute! I want to share something quite personal with you but I think it’s important because this is something that apparently affects about 6-8 in every 10 black women but no one talks about it.”

In the post, she noted that she was scared when the doctors told her she had fibroid. “I found out I had fibroids in 2017, I remember freaking out so much. The first gynaecologist I saw said if it wasn’t really bordering me he would advise I leave it alone but that I had better go and quickly get married.

She continued, “Anyways, fast forward to March 2020, the bulge on my lower belly had gotten bigger and my new gynaecologist advised I take out the fibroids.”

Ini Dima-Okojie said that at the point she was meant to have the surgery, the COVID-19 pandemic had become a serious issue worldwide so her operation was delayed. “Then Covid happened and we had to put the surgery on hold. In the meantime, I tried other things like herbs, clean diet, exercise.

“Now fast forward to November, the bulge in my tummy had now increased significantly so I decided to go do another pelvic scan and was told I had to get an MRI because the fibroids were now bigger than what the ultrasound machine could adequately measure. Bottom line I had to have the surgery as soon as possible. I had the surgery, it was successful and I’m now healing slowly but surely. I just want to thank God Almighty for showing up and showing out for me!”

The North East star seized the opportunity to thank everyone that stood by her during her plight.

“I want to thank my family and friends especially my mum and my Aunty Biola who moved into the hospital and never left my side. I want to thank Dr Esue and all the doctors and nurses at Cedarcrest hospital for taking such good care of me. And finally, I want to thank you guys who have been sending me messages, wondering if I’m okay and praying for me anyway,” she said.

She also shared a word of encouragement with women who are still battling fibroid.

“To the women out there dealing with fibroids. I know what a lonely road it can be not to talk of the pain and discomfort and then there are the ignorant ‘congrats on your pregnancy’ comments to deal with. It’s okay they don’t know any better. I want you to know that my DMs are opened to you. If you want to ask questions, talk or even just rant. I’ll respond once I get stronger.

“I know 2020 has been a tough year. But we are tougher!!! We’re still here, we survived!!! That alone is a huge feat. Let’s remember to be kind to ourselves and others. I pray 2021 is better for us all! Lots of Love Ini,” she said.

Interpol Uncovers €500,000 Covid-19 fraud in Nigeria

The International Criminal Police Organisation (Interpol) has traced a €500,000 Covid-19 fraud to Nigeria.

The organisation made this known in a statement on its website titled, ‘Unmasked: International Covid-19 fraud exposed’.

According to the statement, the scheme was coordinated using compromised emails, advance-payment fraud, and money laundering.

It stated that the fraud was uncovered by financial institutions and authorities across Germany, Ireland and the Netherlands, as part of a case coordinated by INTERPOL.

The statement read in part, “In mid-March, as a number of countries were going into lockdown due to the coronavirus outbreak, German health authorities contracted two sales companies in Zurich and Hamburg to procure EUR 15 million worth of face masks. With a global shortage on medical supplies complicating usual business channels, the buyers followed new leads in the hopes of securing the masks.

“It all started with an email address and website which appeared to be linked to a legitimate company in Spain selling face masks. Unbeknownst to the buyers, the site was a fake and their legitimate email addresses had been compromised.

“Through email correspondence, the company initially claimed to have 10 million masks, only for the delivery to fall through. As consolation, they then referred the buyers to a ‘trusted’ dealer in Ireland. The Irish middleman promised to put them in touch with a different supplier, this time in the Netherlands.

“Claiming to have a strong commercial relationship with the company, the man provided assurances that the alleged Dutch company would be able to supply the 10 million face masks. An agreement for an initial delivery of 1.5 million masks was made, in exchange for an up-front payment of EUR 1.5 million.

“The buyers initiated a bank transfer to Ireland and prepared for delivery, which involved 52 lorries and a police escort to transport the masks from a warehouse in the Netherlands to the final destination in Germany.

“Just before the delivery date, the buyers were informed that the funds had not been received and that an emergency transfer of EUR 880,000 straight to the Dutch supplier was required to secure the merchandise.

“The buyers sent the wire transfer and the masks never arrived. It turns out the Dutch company existed, but their website had also been cloned. There was no official record of the order.

“When the buyers realized they had been duped, they immediately contacted their bank in Germany, which in turn contacted INTERPOL’s Financial Crimes unit, setting off a race to intercept the funds and follow the money trail.

“The Dutch Fiscal Information and Investigation Service quickly tracked down the EUR 880,000 which had been transferred from the German company. Nearly EUR 500,000 of those funds had already been sent to the United Kingdom, all of which was destined for an account in Nigeria.”

Mustapha, also, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), said that the names of the passengers would be published on Jan. 1, 2021, while the suspension of the passports would last for six months.

“With effect from Jan. 1, 2021, passports of the first 100 passengers, who failed to take their day-seven post-arrival polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test, would be published in the national dailies,” he said.

The SGF lamented the difficulties experienced in the national response, noting,”Our National Response is passing through a challenging phase due to the seriousness of the second wave of infections in Nigeria.

”Week 52 has so far given us the highest number of infections in a single week to date. Our analysis shows that 16 out of every 100 tests carried out are positive.

”We are also seeing increasing transmission among younger people and this is not considered good and safe. We must, therefore, exercise utmost restraint by taking responsibility,” he said.

'Black families and marriages are under attack,' Tyrese wrote. 'I've wrestled with this question. How can we naturally know how to BE something we never raised by?'

Writing alongside a video montage of family memories with Samantha and their daughter Soraya, two, the singer turned actor continued:

'Most of us were raised in broken homes with NO examples of what being a husband, wife or FATHER is.

'I repeat. How can we naturally know how to BE something we were never raised by? I pray we leave the door open because the God that we serve is a mountains mover and can make a way out of now way.'

Tyrese said in a separate statement that he and Samantha, who he met in 2015, will 'remain the best of friends and strong co-parents.'

'We feel incredibly blessed to have found each other and deeply grateful for the [nearly] four years we have been married to each other. Our journey together has been a ride of both ups and downs, but it's a journey that neither of us would have chosen to take with anyone else.'

Tyrese and Samantha added: 'As if 2020 hasn't already been extremely grueling and challenging to us all, we wanted to mutually speak on this now to keep this energy in 2020 and not take this energy into 2021.'

They are now ironing out the custody details for their two-year-old daughter Soraya Rayas.

Lil Pump refuses to wear a face mask on flight, says CORONA IS FAKE and promises to wear none in 2021

Lil Pump has been banned from flying with a US airline after refusing to wear a face mask during a flight, it's claimed.

The rapper, 20, was on a JetBlue flight from Fort Lauderdale to Los Angeles on Saturday when he reportedly "became verbally abusive" to members of the cabin crew and took off his face mask before refusing to put it back on when asked.

JetBlue allegedly called in to LAX Airport to tell them to have police on standby but Lil Pump was not arrested when the flight landed, according to TMZ.

The site claims that Lil Pump refused to comply with JetBlue's mask policy, and later said he was sneezing and coughing into a blanket without his mask.

He's later said to have complied and wore his mask, but when the flight landed he criticised the airline on social media.

In a now deleted Instagram video, Lil Pump said: "F**k JetBlue. F**k everyone that's working there!"

Lil Pump, who is also known as Gazzy Garcia, added: "All 2020, 2021, I ain't wearing no mask.

"I ain't gotta wear no f**king mask, bitch, corona's fake."
