“So sorry to hear the news about Jeff Bozo,” the president tweeted, referring to Bezos as “Bozo.”
“…being taken down by a competitor whose reporting, I understand, is far more accurate than the reporting in his lobbyist newspaper, the Amazon Washington Post.”
The “competitor” Trump was referring to was the National Enquirer — which published a story that exposed damning text messages between Bezos and former TV anchor Lauren Sanchez.
Bezos, 55, announced his divorce from wife MacKenzie Bezos on Wednesday, and news of the billionaire's relationship with former television anchor Lauren Sanchez broke.
