UK Convicted Murderer Michael Adebowale Wants To Spend The Rest Of His Jail Term In Kirikiri

One of the men who hacked soldier Lee Rigby to death in 2013 is making a bid to serve out the rest of his sentence in a Nigerian jail with a VIP wing.

Michael Adebowale and Michael Adebolajo killed the fusilier near his barracks in Woolwich, South East London and the former was given 45 years in jail for his part in the bloody attack.

The 37-year-old is currently holed in in HMP Wakefield, otherwise known as Monster Mansion - but he wants to return to his parent's native land.

Adebowale has even written to immigration experts asking for their advice, according to The Sun.


Last night a source told the paper: 'Michael hates Wakefield. It's stuffed full of lags who see him as a top target.

'He thinks he can spend the rest of his sentence in Africa.'

It was also reported that Adebowale plans to seek a prisoner-swap deal to Lagos' Kirikiri jail where then-Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson also agreed to pay for a new £700,000 wing in 2014.

Since then, some lags have been able to go there to serve out their sentences but Adebowale's chances seem destined to fail as he wasn't born in the West African country.

Mr Rigby's mother Lynn reacted to the news, branding it an insult to her son. 

She said: 'This is a disgrace and an insult to Lee. I'm sure he doesn't like Wakefield Prison but he has the luxury of being alive unlike my son who he stole from me.

'He should serve his sentence here and not try to exploit the law for a cushier life.'

Woman's Uterus 'FALLS OUT' Of Her Vagina While Dancing At A Public Square

A 60-year-old woman's uterus fell out of her vagina while she was dancing in a public square.

The mother thought her womb had fallen out because of her overenthusiastic dancing, however a doctor told her it was more likely because of childbirth.

The Chinese woman went to see a doctor in the city of Xuzhou, China, because she thought a piece of flesh had dropped from her genitals.

Dr Song Hongjuan, supervisor at the Maternal and Child Health Centre, in Xuzhou, told her she had suffered a uterine prolapse.


The Daily Mail reports that the doctor suspected she had given birth to a large baby at a young age and never been treated for her prolapse.

The surgeon told reporters she had operated on the unnamed woman, who thought she had a tumour, and she was making a full recovery.

Dr Song advised other women to pay attention to their bodies and said illnesses such as constipation, allergic rhinitis and chronic coughs could cause damage to their pelvic floor muscles.

She encouraged mums to practice pelvic floor exercises after giving birth.

A 25-year-old Oxford University graduate has announced she is engaged to marry her former professor - who is 46 years her senior.

Cameron Platt, who just finished her master’s degree in English and United States history, took to Facebook to gush about her 71-year-old fiancé, writing that their engagement "will come as a surprise to many” after just six months of dating.

She wrote she met Lee Mitchell while she attended Princeton University - one of America's top colleges - where he was head of the English Department.

Platt, who lists Oxford as her home, said she took one of his classes five years ago when she was 20-year-old.


She shared a photo showing her and Mitchell beaming over wine at a restaurant, and another image of a diamond-crusted engagement ring.

"Lee was little more than a stranger to me then, but he captivated me with his brilliance, sensitivity, and passion.

“His lectures changed forever the way that I think.”

After becoming fed up with city life, this couple moved to the world's most northern town and now live among 110 dogs.

Audun Salte and his wife Mia, live in Longyearbyen, in the Arctic, which is believed to be warming faster than any other town on Earth.

Two years ago, they bought a dog yard in a bid to improve the health of all the dogs and now they run husky tours for visitors.

Speaking to the BBC in a video produced by Daniel South and Trystan Young for Newshour, Audun said: "A life with dogs is just better.


"You have these four-legged friends that are happy to see you whenever you come and they just improve your life a little bit.

"Now I have 110 children, before we knew it we owned too many dogs.

"I tried to live in a city once. I used to be very annoyed at people all the time. You were annoyed when you were in the car, you were annoyed when you were in a shop, you were annoyed on everyone else and you thought you were always fine.

"And with the dogs, have you ever seen a dog that's annoyed at someone else? No, they usually bark at someone and then they're over with it.

"They don't sit and think about people being annoying. They just seem to enjoy life so much better than we do."

Chris Rock was having fun with a meme on Twitter over the weekend when he pissed alot of people off. The 54-year-old Grown Ups actor made a joke about the late Whitney Houston's drug use.

Soon, the songbird's ex, Bobby Brown shared that he was not happy with the remark.

'I thought you was a friend of the family,' said the 50-year-old rapper said.

The fuss began when Rock joked that he hates being in meetings when an email would have done the trick. The exact note read, 'Me sitting in a meeting that could've been an email.'


The comedian also shared a photo of a bored-looking Whitney with sunglasses on and a multicolored blazer.

The image was most likely taken from an old TV interview when she was in her twenties. 

That was not the offensive part.

What bothered Brown was the note that followed from Rock: 'Hurry up I got crack to smoke.'

Brown reacted strongly to the insult. 'During this time of women empowerment you chose to use your time to try and humiliate our QUEEN!!!' he stated.

And he added, 'I thought you was a friend of the family.'

Rock's followers were also not happy about the rude comment. One said it was 'tasteless' while others trashed Chris for not being funny.

Rock then deleted the post.

The Queen visited Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at their new home ahead of the birth of the royal baby .

The monarch saw the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at Frogmore Cottage, in Home Park, Windsor.

Meghan is expected to give birth any day now and the Queen wanted to see her before she has the baby, according to a royal source.

The source told The Sun: "Her Majesty wanted to formally welcome the Sussexes to their new home so she was their first visitor.


"After all, they’ve practically moved into her back garden. She visited with other family members and Harry and Meghan were delighted to show them round."

The couple have also welcomed the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Zara and Mike Tindall, and other royals to their new home, which recently underwent a £3million renovation, partly funded by taxpayers' cash.

Meghan and Harry previously said they did not know whether their child was going to be a girl or a boy, with bookmakers taking bets on the sex of the child.

ITV's royal editor Chris Ship told Good Morning Britain that the baby's arrival is "imminent" on Friday.

Prince William, 36, and Kate, 37, married on April 29th 2011 at Westminster Abbey and the couple share three children - Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 3, and Prince Louis, 1.

Military Action Yielding Results, Says Buhari

Military operations against criminals are yielding the desired results, President Muhammadu Buhari said yesterday.

According to the President, the Armed Forces have, by their efforts within the past four years, restored the pride and honour of Nigeria amongst the comity of nations.

President Buhari spoke at the Eagle Square, Abuja as the Special Guest of Honour during the Parade/Orbat Flypast/Aerial Display by the Nigerian Air Force to commemorate its 55 anniversary.

Represented by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, the President was treated to a colourful parade by the Six Commands of the NAF. He inducted two new Agusta 109 attack helicopters recently acquired by the service.


At the event were: Chief of Defence (CDS) Gen. Abayomi Olonisakin; Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai; representative of the Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) and Acting Inspector-General (IG) Mohammed Adamu.

President Buhari said: “I am very delighted to be in your midst today to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the NAF. Since the establishment of the NAF in 1964 by an Act of the Nigerian Parliament, the Nigerian Air Force has been fulfilling its Constitutional mandate of preserving Nigeria’s territorial integrity through the employment and projection of air power.

“As a country, we are particularly proud that in less than 4 years, we have been able to revitalise our armed forces for the full restoration of Nigeria’s territorial integrity that was once violated by Boko Haram insurgents.

Two Arrested Over Photos Showing The Body Of Emiliano Sala In A Morgue

A man and a woman have been arrested over photos purportedly showing the body of Emiliano Sala in a morgue which were posted online.

The woman, 48, and man, 62, allegedly obtained the pictures of the footballer’s remains. They were arrested in February, but it has come to light now after the image circulated on social media.

It allegedly shows the Argentinian striker’s remains at the Holly Tree Lodge mortuary in Bournemouth after the star’s death in a plane crash.

Wiltshire Police said: ‘There is no evidence to suggest a break-in at the mortuary, and no evidence to suggest that any staff from the mortuary, or indeed any other council employees, are involved in any wrongdoing.’


The pair, both from Wiltshire, were arrested on suspicion of unauthorised access to computer material.

The female suspect, from Corsham, was also arrested on suspicion of sending malicious communications and is on conditional bail.

The male suspect, from Calne, was released under investigation. Sala, 28, had just signed for Cardiff City when he disappeared with the pilot of the Piper Malibu private plane when it crashed in the English Channel north of Guernsey on January 21.

His body was recovered on February 6 but pilot David Ibbotson, 59, of Crowle, Lincolnshire, has not been located.
