Katsina Police command arrest corps member who allegedly r.a.p.e.d JSS1 female student

The Katsina State Police Command has said it has arrested a corps member for allegedly r3ping a female junior secondary school one student at his Primary Place of Assignment in the state.

SP Gambo Isah, the Katsina state police spokesperson who confirmed the incident said they are still awaiting the outcome of the medical reports to formally charge the corps member with the crime, but he is already in their custody. According to um, the matter was reported when the girl accused him of r3pe.

Isah said: "Yes, the boy has been arrested and remains in detention but we are still awaiting the outcome of our investigation and the medical report to firmly establish the allegation.”


The corps member was arrested after the JSS 1 student accused him of r3ping her at the residence the school he works with, provided for serving corps members.

Reacting to the corps member's arrest, NYSC authorities in the state revealed that they are awaiting police investigation into the case.
