Popstar Zayn Malik ’s five-year-old cousin Arshiya has died after a battle with a brain tumour, her family announced today.

The former One Direction star's close relatives took to social media to pay tribute to their “beautiful princess.”

Posting a picture of Arshiya laughing with her hands clasped in prayer, her mother Zileh Malik wrote: “An angel wrote in the book of life my baby’s date of birth, then whispered as she closed the book.. ‘Too beautiful for earth’ R.I.P baby doll.”
