Samina Samoon, 24, was allegedly shot and killed by Tarique Ahmed Jatoi while she was performing at the gathering.
She had reportedly refused his 'request' that she stand up while she sang in Kanga village, near Larkana, on Tuesday.
In footage a man can be seen badgering the singer, who is also known as Samina Sindhu, to comply before shooting her.
A video shows Samina eventually standing up with two men throwing money at her as she sings.
But, just moments after she stood up, the singer was shot.
Samina was rushed to the Chandka Hospital, but could not survive her injuries and was pronounced dead.
The slain singer's husband told journalists that she had been six months pregnant with their child.
"Samina declined to dance because she was pregnant, her refusal enraged the accused who then killed her," Ary News quoted the singer's husband Ashiq Ali as saying.
He demanded Jatoi, who has been arrested according to local media, be charged with the double murder of killing his wife and unborn child.
