Executors of the socialite’s estate refurbished the three bedroom flat in Earls Court, West London and it on the market months after she was found dead there in February last year.
Her flat sold for £2.3million in January after initially being listed by estate agents for £2.5million.
Palmer-Tomkinson, a close friend of Prince Charles and a favourite with his sons William and Harry, had bought the flat for £1.7million in 2005.
Her sister Santa Montefiore and brother James Palmer Tomkinson are the beneficiaries of the estate as she did not have children.
It was thought the former party girl had died from a brain tumour with friends claiming she had been withdrawn and a virtual recluse in the weeks before her death in February 2017.
But her novelist sister revealed she had died in her sleep as a result of a perforated stomach ulcer.
Her body is thought to have gone undiscovered for five days at the flat before being found by her cleaner.
The three bed flat has undergone a make-over with walls being painted in neutral colours before being put on the market. The new owner is from America.
Prince Charles and his wife Camilla had led the tributes to Palmer-Tomkinson following her death saying they were ‘deeply saddened’ at the loss of the close family friend
