One bride-to-be has sparked debate on social media after revealing that she wasn't going to let her fiancé's niece wear a superhero-inspired dress on her big day.
The youngster and her in-laws picked out a red and blue shiny dress made to look like Captain Marvel's iconic outfit and they were pretty pleased with their choice.
Until the bride told them to think again.
In a post on Facebook she shared a snap of the girl's dress and wrote: "Was at the soon to be in-laws today and they chose this dress for my fiancé's niece.
"I told them to keep shopping. Do people really not understand what to wear for weddings."
This was then shared on a wedding shaming Facebook group, where people had mixed opinions.
