The suspect who is in the Faculty of Medicine was arrested over alleged cultism and illegal possession of firearms.
The Chief Security Officer of the institution (CSO), Jarlath Abang who paraded the suspect said he was arrested at the students’ hostel, Moore Road by gallant men of the security unit who were on routine surveillance of hostels.
Abang said men of the security unit had already received intelligence reports about his nefarious activities in the hostel, and it swung into action and arrested him at the wee hours of the morning.
