Dr. Kayode Fayemi has resigned his appointment as the Minister of Mines and Steel Development to concentrate on his Ekiti Governorship race. Fayemi tendered his resignation letter to President Muhammadu Buhari three weeks ago, but it officially takes effect from today, Wednesday, May 30.

He will be largely contending with the present Deputy Governor, to Ayo Fayose, Kolapo Olusola, The election is set to take place on the 14th of July.

Is Fayemi coming back to rule again just like Fayose came back? Ekiti people, over to you.

It's going to be the most interesting election so far, well may be it won't beat that of APC defecting PDP on National level, that was shocking, lol.  We just love politics, ofcourse the non-violent ones. GEJ didn't fight back, so why should anyone?
