Talented Tazmin Pugh, 18, was found dead in the property in Cotheridge, Worcestershire, after it became engulfed in flames on Sunday night.
Her 21-year-old partner, Josh Kirk, was also discovered at the scene. Tazmin, who has been named by friends, was a popular England and GB swimmer who scooped a bronze medal at the 2015 Games in Apia, Samoa.
She was pictured posing with two other medalists following the Girls' 200m Individual Medley at Tuanaimato Sports Facility's aquatic centre that year.
The same year, she also set a British junior record for the 50m Butterfly event at the ASA National Winter Meet with a winning time of 26.82 seconds.
And in 2016, she won gold for Great Britain in the 200m backstroke at the LEN European Junior Championships in Hungary.
An "inspirational" swimmer, Tazmin "always" had time for young British swimmers who would watch her train in awe whenever she was home.
She was sadly found dead after the fire broke out at about 8pm on Sunday.
Around 30 firefighters raced to Bromyard Road after neighbours reported hearing “popping” sounds and seeing smoke billowing into the air.
Police attended the scene and assisted with closing the road.
In an emotional Facebook post, Pershore Swimming Club said Tazmin had won six medals for England through her swimming.
"It is with enormous shock and sorrow that we heard today that Tazmin Pugh has tragically died on Sunday evening," the club said.
"There are simply no words to describe the horror of losing one so young with so much to look forward to in life.
"All at Pershore SC and the wider swimming community will join together sending their thoughts and prayers to her family & friends at this dreadful time."
