Janie Hamilton Clark is hoping to harness the power of social media in a bid to find her "sweet" Lucas and not let an opportunity for love slip through her fingers.
They met a couple of weeks ago while he was on a stag do with friends and she was visiting her mum in sunny Benalmádena, in Spain's Costa del Sol.
While she admitted feeling a bit "silly" for laying her cards on the table so publicly, Janie says she is not one to miss an opportunity.
She said: "I gave him the benefit of the doubt and he turned out to be lovely.
"There was a connection but given he’s in Devon and I’m in Glasgow we decided it was pointless to exchange numbers.
"Then we met again and we joked about how I’d find him eventually. I’ve not managed to get him out of my head - something I’m usually excellent with."
Lucas is described as having fair hair and being 5'9' to 5'10 tall.
She added: "He kept calling me a 'worldie' and we met in a karaoke bar and again in the 24 hour square called St Andrews.
"Nothing other than conversation happened between us, so this is all very sweet and innocent which is why I think I can’t get him out of my head!"
