The bodies of Bill and Joe Smith were found together in a tree off an isolated country lane in Sevenoaks, Kent, at about 11.30am on Saturday.
It has emerged Joe, a dad-of-two, had recently been diagnosed with cancer, which had come as a devastating blow for his brother Bill, who had told him: "I’d never be able to live without you."
The 32-year-old twins' uncle found their bodies in a woodland, where they had played as youngsters, after they disappeared and worried family members found a note.
