Ganduje appoints new Emir of Rano

Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje has appointed a new Emir of Rano to replace the late Emir, Alhaji Tafida Abubakar Illa.

The new Emir of Rano is Alhaji Kabiru Muhammad Inuwa.

The new emir was formerly the Kaigaman Rano, District Head of Kibiya.

A statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Abba Anwar confirmed that Ganduje has appointed Inuwa to fill the vacant seat.

Emir of Rano, Alhaji Tafida Abubakar Ila, had died on Saturday in Kano at the age of 74.
