Newly-single Scott, 37, parted ways with his 21-year-old on/off girlfriend - who is the daughter of musician Lionel Richie - earlier this month.
And since their split, which reports say is for good, Scott has been spending considerably more one-on-one time with Kourtney - with whom he shares three kids with.
The busy parents headed out for a swanky dinner at Malibu's Nobu, but had no idea that Scott's ex would be there with pals.
Scott and Kourtney were dressed for the occasion, with the eldest Kardashian dressed in an all-beige suit ensemble.
Meanwhile Scott added a pop of colour to his look, opting for a colourful shirt with matching trainers.
It seems as though the pair delegated their parenting duties for the night as they were spotted without their three kids Mason, 10, Penelope, eight, and five-year-old Reign.
Luckily, the pair did not see Sofia at the restaurant and their evening was without drama.
