The loved-up couple have been dating since 2015, with recent rumours suggesting they were set to take the next step together.

And on Thursday Australian actor Anthony LaPaglia and Alexandra Henkel confirmed they are engaged to be married.

Alexandra, 28, couldn't contain her excitement as she flaunted her giant sparkler to the camera at the YSL Beauty Club Takes Over Melbourne event.

Anthony called it quits with his wife of 17 years in March 2015, and announced he was dating Alexandra three months later.

The Without A Trace star, 58, and his Melbourne fiance thirty years his junior both appeared in high spirits.

Unable to contain their affection for each other, the pair caressed and kissed each other in front of the photographers.
