But despite slamming the woman she was married to for 24 years, in a rare conciliatory moment, she also said the reality television matriarch had secretly decorated her fancy home in upmarket Malibu following their split.
Slyly mocking the prospect of a Kris-penned manuscript, Caitlyn, 67, told 92nd Street Y: 'There are differences of opinions. I have my opinion, she has hers. She can go write her own book. Maybe that’ll happen, but it wouldn’t be as juicy as mine.'
Kris lashed out at the woman formerly known as Bruce in a recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, disputing the claims in her book, including that she knew about her ex's desire to transition.
She said: 'None of it makes sense. Everything she says is all made up. Why does everything have to be that Kris is such a b**** and an a**hole?'
'All through the book, Kris knew. "Kris knew before I even made love to her." I'm like, "What!?"'
However Caitlyn doubled down on her claims, saying: 'We hit it off from day one. I was honest with her. I’m sure I downplayed it. But I was honest with her.
'When I married, her, I never thought … even when we went our separate directions, I never thought I’d be able to transition.'
She also explained her decision to transition in her 60s was due to the 'distractions' in her life, namely her children
The old charmer said: 'I got into work, started a family, started raising kids. I say it was a distraction, and Kendall and Kylie all say, "Oh, we were a distraction?"
'I say, "Not you. You, I love." It was a distraction from who I was. I love being a parent. They’ve all done so extremely well and they’re hardworking kids."
