The couple released more details ahead of their spring wedding yesterday, revealing they wanted members of the public to ‘feel part of the celebrations’.
A statement from Kensington Palace said: ‘Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle have said they want their Wedding Day to be shaped so as to allow members of the public to feel part of the celebrations too.
‘This wedding, like all weddings, will be a moment of fun and joy that will reflect the characters and values of the Bride and Groom.’
The lucky 2,640 people will be invited into the grounds of Windsor Castle to see the bride and groom arrive and depart St George’s Chapel, where they are tying the knot.
Meghan and Harry had already revealed they would be taking part in a Carriage Procession in Windsor after they had married to allow crowds to catch a glimpse of them as man and wife.
