Adebayo Adelabu who won APC’s Governorship primary yesterday in Ibadan has thanked the good people of his party saying indeed, the journey has just began.  Thanking them, he said;

''With gratitude to God and the good people of Africa’s best political party, APC, I was today chosen to be the flag bearer for the Gubernatorial elections of Oyo State in 2019.
This journey started in the full glare of everyone and will definitely come to fruition with all of us alive and in good health.  It is now time to consolidate and galvanize everyone against the general elections so that we can be victorious and able to actually effect the vision that we have for our great state and the continuity that a victory at the polls will bring to the giant strides already recorded in Oyo State
