Toke Makinwa has continued to talk about the sentencing of Maryam Sanda, which a judge handed out yesterday.

The Judge has said the alleged husband killer must be hanged till she dies. That broke alot of people's heart and Toke Makinwa has been one of the many Nigerian women who is speaking up and asking couples to separate from each other if 'they can't take it anymore'.

Advising adults who are married the OAP wrote;


“They say divorce is not an option and it’s a sin, and it’s not our tradition but if you die or kill someone cos of anger, the same people that “said”will only cry with you as you throw your life away, try separation first and if things don’t get better, choose you”.
