The arrested Nigerians include 29 year-old Sunday Moses from the Redlight Community; 30 year-old IkoNso; 28 year-old UzaaKamara and 37 year-old Victor Kamara, all from Caldwell. The other suspects include 35 year-old Prince Ken and 26 year-old Anthony Enechi from the Paynesville Community.
DEA’s Chief of Operation Mr. JohntorWolo told reporters at the agency’s office in Fiamah, Sinkor that his officers carried out the arrest after being hinted by a whistleblower on the suspects’ alleged activities.
“Today we embarked on a special operation that was successful…”,Officer Wolo said, adding that the arrested Nigerian nationals were involved in the sales and distribution of narcotic drugs.
He told reporters that the impounded drugs would be kept in DEA custody until the month of June to be destroyed during celebrations of International Drugs Day. He has assured the public that in the next 24 hours, each of the arrested Nigerians would appear at various courts.
